THE GOODWIN PROJECT

I heard about the Goodwin Project at the office today. The Goodwin's are a young family from Kauai that decided to take on a nomadic adventure searching for the best waves around the world.  They have a small film crew documenting the trip and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

At first glance this match up looks like a bit much, but if you play around with color and patterns enough it begins to work. Everything revolves around the Vanishing Elephant boots because the burgundy color is fire.  The color doesn't become so bold when paired up with texture from the cords, color blocking of the jacket, the gingham of the woven and the striping of the beanie.
